Ursula Hinostroza Castillo is a doctor from the University of Lleida and associate professor in the Department of Psychology in the area of Evolutionary and Educational Psychology at the University of Lleida. He is a member of the Research Group Consolidated by the Generalitat of Catalonia "Language and Education" (2021 SGR 996). Ursula has a bachelor in Psychology from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), and has completed a master's degree in Social Work with Children and Families at the Instituto Universitario de Lisboa (Portugal), the University of Stavanger (Norway) and the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). In 2015 she was awarded the Javeriana Order of Academic Merit, in 2016 she was awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship to carry out his master's studies and in 2019 she received a JADE plus scholarship to carry out her PhD studies.

Her research work focuses on the field of inclusive education, especially educational support for vulnerable groups in the university environment. Since joining the university, her teaching has focused on the subjects of educational psychology and attention to diversity, both in the grades of dual modality primary education, bilingual primary education, double degree of early childhood and primary education, and in the degree of early childhood education, creative management modality and standard modality. Since the 2020/2021 academic year, she has been directing master’s thesis in the field of conduct disorders and ADHD in the Master's Degree in Learning and Language Difficulties of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open Catalan University).
