Alberto Fernández

Alberto Fernández is full professor at the Department of Educational Sciences (Language and Literature Didactics Area) of the University of Oviedo. He directs the Màster d'Ensenyament Integrat de Llengua Anglesa i Contingut. She coordinated it between 2012 and 2018, and since then she has coordinated the Doctoral Program in Education and Psychology.

She has carried out research stays at the University of Melbourne (Australia), the Imperial College of Science and Technology (UK), the University of Leuven (Belgium), the University of Regensburg (Germany) and the University of Brasov (Romania). Her research focuses on English language teaching, bilingualism and Integrated Language and Content Learning (CLIL).

In the last five years he has participated in fourteen research projects (nine of them European, two national and three regional projects) and has published twelve articles in indexed journals and fifteen book articles. He is an evaluator of research projects for the National Agency of Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP), as well as for other European agencies. Since 2012 he coordinates the Master in Integrated Teaching of English Language and Content at the University of Oviedo.
