Andrés Sandoval

Andrés Sandoval holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), a Master's degree in Educational Research from the UIA (Universidad Iberoamericana) and a PhD in Education from the University of Bath.

Before joining the University of Bath, he worked as Head of the Research and Analysis Unit at the IEA, where he coordinated and participated in research projects and training activities related to comparative analysis of educational systems using large-scale assessment data (e.g. PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS). In recent years, he has also collaborated or acted as a consultant for ministries of education in several countries, the World Bank, OECD, UNESCO, UNICEF, UIS and other international organizations.
